Itinerary
The Inca Jungle Trek Begins in Cusco Around 5:30 am our agency Machupicchu Hop will come to pick you up together with our guide to your respective hostels and/or meeting point. Then continue to Ollantaytambo, where we will have our breakfast for 30 min approximately.
At the end of our breakfast we will continue towards Abra Málaga at 4,200 m.a.s.l. From here we will begin our cycling adventure for approximately 4 hours passing through rivers and streams until we reach Huamanmarca.
Then we will transfer by bus to Santa Maria where we will enjoy our lunch shortly before beginning our part of the trip in canoeing (For those who chose as an additional option at the time of booking the tour to perform this activity of Canoeing) The Canoeing lasts approximately 2 hours.
At the end of the activity, the group will take the bus to Santa Teresa (1 hour by car) and will check into the hostel where they will spend the night. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant in Santa Teresa.
After a sunrise in the jungle, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast, We will leave Santa Teresa (those who booked tirolesa will be taken to the starting point of this activity) after that they will be taken by bus to Hidro eléctrica.
Those who do not participate in the activity will continue walking for approximately 3 hours until they reach Electric Hydro, where we will meet the rest of the group. Then all the groups will enjoy lunch.
At the end of lunch we will continue with a walk through the trails of the Inca Jungle for 3 hours until we reach the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), where our guide will place us in our respective accommodation. The group will be taken to a local restaurant for dinner while receiving information about the next day of the excursion.
In the morning we get up around 4:00 am where we will receive a small Box Lunch, to go to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu , in this walk we will take approximately 1 hour and a half. (if you feel tired you can skip the walk and make it by bus, tickets can be purchased in Aguas Calientes town, or buy in advance with us).
We will enter the inca citadel of Machu Picchu and will have a guide of the main places during 2 hours approximately. At the end of the guide you will have free time to visit Machu Picchu individually or to climb the mountains (Machu Picchu Mountain or Wayna Picchu) if the reservation is Mada.
After the visit you will return to Aguas Calientes. In the town of Aguas Calientes you will have enough time to enjoy a delicious meal or drink.
A very important note to keep in mind is that you must be at the station half an hour before the departure of your train. Once on the train, you will be arriving at Ollantaytambo station, where at Ollantaytambo station, our staff will be waiting for you to return to Cusco leaving you near your hotel.

What to bring to Inka Jungle Trail - 3 Days
When preparing your luggage, remember that the rainy season at Machu Picchu is from December to March. The winter, between May and August, that's why we recommend that you take with you:
- Clothes to avoid the cold (for the first day of the trip)
- Sportswear (02 pair each).
- Trekking shoes.
- Hat or cap.
- Sunglasses.
- Solar blocker
- Personal medical kit / supplies
- Rain jacket or poncho/according to the season.
