Machu Picchu can be visited by train during the rainy season; fog is less common, and it is more likely to be sunny.

February (Inca Trail Closed)
Considered one of the rainiest months in Machu Picchu; the Inca Trail is closed due to weather conditions.

It is not recommended to do treks to Machu Picchu, but alternative tours are available.

March (Wet, Quiet, Good for Trekking)

April (Moderately Wet, But Calm, Good for Trekking)

May (Dry, Starts to Get Busy)
